A bay and small settlement situated 18 kilometres north-east of Nelson. By climbing the steep hill near by which takes around 30 mins the view is nothing short of outstanding. The drive leading up to the bay is quite bendy and does require steady nerves. If your lucky enough you can see the bay from high above in a domestic flight to the North Island
