Hell's Gate

Found in the town of Rotorua, Hell’s Gate is the most active geothermal area around. In the park you will find steaming lakes, mudpools, a mud volcano and the Kakahi Falls, the largest hot waterfall in the southern hemisphere.

Wai-O-Tapu

Also found in the Rotorua region you have New Zealand's most colourful volcanic area. Wai-O-Tapu is pretty spectacular, due to dramatic geothermal conditions beneath the earth, the area has many hot springs noted for their colourful appearance. Trip Advisor states it as one of the 20 most surreal places on earth!

The Pancake Rocks

Punakaiki is a small community on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand and it is where you will find the popular attraction 'Pancake Rocks'. The Rocks are a heavily eroded limestone area where the sea bursts through several vertical blowholes during high tides creating a fascinating pancake looking effect!

The Clay Cliffs

A natural rock formation 10 km west of Omarama in the South Island of New Zealand. The Clay cliffs are pretty astonishing and a real hidden gem. The cliffs are a great detour on route to the great Mt Cook
