Tauranga is a city in the Bay of Plenty Region renowned for it's award winning beaches. Whilst in The Bay of Plenty region we visited a seaside resort called Mt Maunganui named after the hill on the beach front. Climbing Mt Maunganui is a must do activity in the area, the walk is short and the views are astonishing. The town has a fine selection of bars and restaurants and you really do get the feel of being on holiday
