The Far North

Right at the top of New Zealand's North Island lies magnificent scenery. Along your journey to the tip you will be amazed by the vast landscapes of this subtropical region. Drive a 4X4 along the great 90 mile beach. Stop in at the country's whitest beach, Rarawa and be blinded by the sand. Take your body boards with you for some crazy sand boarding down the massive Te Paki Sand Dunes. Once you have made it to the end of Highway 1 you will be blessed with the famous Cape Reinga lighthouse standing pretty among the hills and the ocean beyond.
