Wellington

Welcome to New Zealand's capital city of Windy Wellington. Home to the country's best museum, mountainous landscapes and bustling small city center. It's not hard to see why it is the country's 2nd largest city. Wellington has been referred to as the best little capital in the world but also the windiest city in the world due to it's location. Despite it's 29kph average wind speed the city has a real friendly vibe filled with street performers, fine dining and world class coffee

Mt Victoria Lookout

At 196 meters high and easily accessible the great Mt Victoria is the perfect spot for those 360 degree panoramic views of the city and it's towering mountains in the distance.

The City

As you venture around the streets you will notice Wellington's smart artistic appearance, it has developed into quite a beautiful modern city very keen on the eye.

The Water front

Created by the artist Max Patte the 'Solace in the Wind' sculpture is a fine example of Wellington's artistic side, bringing in tonnes of tourists to admire and wonder what the leaning man is all about.

Oriental Bay

Numbingly cold water yet so beautiful this beach is right next to the city and as you can see she's quite a stunner!

Upper Hut

A short drive out of the city you have the scenic mountain roads of the Upper Hut Valley

Kaitoke Reservoir

A 45 minute drive from Wellington city you are rewarded with the amazing Kaitoke reservoir. Whilst driving north on State Highway 2 look out for this one, there is no long walk to the viewing platform and the view is just WOW!
