The Journey - New Zealand
Arthur's Pass
Arthur's Pass is Situated in the Southern Alps in the Selwyn district. The two of us drove there from Christchurch which is 3 hours south east. The drive was very scenic, full filled with huge mountains and blue waters, at one point along the way we found ourselves driving in the clouds! Once in the small township of Arthur's Pass we had a spot of lunch at the 'Wobbly Kea Cafe'. The Cafe lived up to it's name, it was filled with Pesky birds eager to steal your lunch. After food we went for a short stroll to a local waterfall called 'The Devil's Punch bowl', the walk was short but steep and the views where pretty spectacular.
