It's crazy seeing steaming mud pools right in the middle of the town centre. Rotorua is The North Islands version of Queenstown, with an abundance of adrenaline pumping activities. Here you can also find the amazing gravity powered Luges set among the mountains (better than the Queenstown ones) and many other crazy activities)

Up in the nearby mountains you have easy access to some of the town's most exhilarating attractions such as the fastest Luge ride in the country and the scary Skyswing. Did I mention the view!
