The Journey - New Zealand
Cape Palliser
A 2 hour entertaining drive south east from Wellington brings you to the bottom tip of the North Island, Cape Palliser. The drive along the rugged coastline is pretty spectacular, as you cruise along weaving in and out along the white cliffs you will eventually reach the iconic Cape Palliser Lighthouse. As with many of the top attractions in New Zealand there is a short yet steep climb to access the lighthouse, but of course the view is always worth the effort.
